WHY SLEEP WITH SILK?
There are so many benefits to sleeping with silk, we’ll just cover a few. Firstly, anti-aging - cotton dries out your skin whilst silk maintains the moisture, keeping your skin cream on your face all night. Secondly, just as cotton dries out your skin, cotton dries out your hair. Silk takes care of your hair at the roots while you sleep, reducing ‘bed head’, and more permanent damage in the long term. Silk is especially helpful in reducing frizzy hair. Sleeping on silk also means no more sleep creases. The smooth surface of silk also lets your face glide across the pillow, reducing fine lines and wrinkles. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A SLEEP MASK?
Aside from the anti aging benefits of silk around the delicate area of your eyes, using a sleep mask will improve uninterrupted sleep.

 

YOUR SILK PRODUCTS ARE 6A GRADE AND 22 MOMME – WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
We use 6A grade which is the highest grade silk of the finest quality. Momme refers to the weight of the silk - 22 momme means the silk is quite heavy, with fine drape, a soft feel and lasting durability. These qualities reflect our strict quality standards.

 

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY SILK PRODUCTS?
Silk is a delicate fabric and deserves the very best care. For the ultimate care, we recommend a cool hand wash, mild, silk formulated, pH neutral detergent, drying flat in the shade, and a cool iron. Our silk products are also dry cleanable. Do not use bleach products, and do not tumble dry.

However, we do have some customers who prefer to machine wash their silk with mild detergent and on a cool, delicate machine setting in a wash bag. 

It's particularly important to note that detergents which are not specially formulated for silk, or delicates, along with any use of bleach, can affect the soft feel of the silk. Ironing can also present a challenge for silk so if you like to press your silk, we recommend ensuring the fabric is completely dry before turning it inside out, and placing a cloth between a cool iron and silk.

 

DO YOU USE NON-TOXIC DYES?
Yes, all our dyes are certified non-toxic.

 

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY CRYSTALS?
Crystals work hard to remove negative energy from around you, and it’s best to cleanse them every two weeks by running them under cool water. During full moon, place your crystals in the moonlight to re-purify them.

Our products are sourced between local and international suppliers. Our products made in Australia include:

  • Essential Oil Blends, including our Pure Oils and Roll Ons.
  • Herbal teas

  • Laundry liquid

WHAT IF I WANT TO SEND MY PURCHASE AS A GIFT?
None of our products have their prices attached so you can rest assured that your recipient won’t find the price tag inside their gift. Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer gift wrapping at this time, however all of our products come in beautiful packaging.

 

WHAT IF AN ITEM IS OUT OF STOCK?
If an item is out of stock, you can request to be added to a waitlist to be advised of when it’s back in stock. We usually restock items very quickly, around 5-10 business days, however, if you’d like to know a more specific time, please ask us at info@thegoodnightco.com

I HAVE A CANDLE FROM THE GOODNIGHT CO. - WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT IT AND WHERE CAN I BUY MORE?
We currently only offer our candles for Corporate Client Gifting and they are unavailable for sale online. If you own a candle by The Goodnight Co., we'd like to remind you how to care and safely burn your candle. Always burn a candle in sight and keep away from flammable objects and children.

1. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
2. Never use water to extinguish a candle.
3. Ensure wicks are upright and trimmed to 7mm during use and each time candle is relit.
4. Do not burn for less than 1/2 hour or more than 3 hours at a time.
5. Stop burning when 13mm of un-melted wax remains in the bottom of the glass jar
6. Never move a burning candle. Ensure candle is extinguished, wax is solid and jar is cold before handling.
7. Glass may become hot. Burn candle on an appropriate flat heat-resistant surface.
8. Avoid using in drafty areas, near an open window, air duct or fan.
9. Keep away from children, pets and flammable materials.
10. Do not use lid to extinguish candle.
